Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of themaisonaurelle.com (the “Site”) and any purchase from Maison Aurelle (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our bags are hand-made in Ubrique, Spain from natural full-grain leather. Because each hide is natural, grain and tone can vary slightly from piece to piece and from photographs — that variation is a feature of full-grain leather, not a defect. Bags from our first production run are individually numbered; numbering is sequential in order of production, and specific numbers cannot be requested.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. For orders shipped to the US, UK, and EU, applicable duties are included — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is processed at checkout by Shopify and its payment partners (including Shop Pay installments, Klarna, Apple Pay, and major cards). We may correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund. Promotional pricing, if ever offered, cannot be applied retroactively.

In-stock, non-monogrammed orders ship within 48 hours of purchase from our atelier. Monogrammed pieces require additional hand-finishing time before dispatch. Delivery times vary by destination and carrier and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to your address; please report a lost or damaged delivery to us within 14 days so we can make it right.

You have 30 days from delivery to decide. Returns and exchanges are complimentary, including return shipping both ways, provided the bag is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with its dust bag and numbered card. To start a return, email care@maisonaurelle.com with your order number and we will send a prepaid label. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the return arriving at our atelier.

Monogrammed bags are made to order and are final sale. They cannot be returned or exchanged except where faulty. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights you hold under the consumer law of your country of residence.

Every Madrid carries a lifetime repair guarantee, honored by the workshop that made it. We will repair defects in materials and workmanship (stitching, hardware, structural elements) for the life of the bag; you pay only shipping to us. Normal cosmetic wear of the leather (patina, surface marks, exposure staining) and damage from misuse are not defects, but we will always assess and quote a fair repair. Email care@maisonaurelle.com to begin a repair.

Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel orders where we suspect fraud, pricing error, or resale operations, with a full refund of any amount paid. You may cancel a non-monogrammed order at no cost any time before it ships by emailing us.

The Site, including its text, images, and branding, is owned by Maison Aurelle and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Product imagery on the Site includes both photography and digitally produced renders of our products.

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to interfere with its operation, submitting false information, or using automated tools to place orders.

The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties regarding the Site itself, and our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights, including warranty rights under EU, UK, and US consumer law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Spain or, where consumer law allows, the courts of your residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
